Refund Policy

Last updated: August 2026.

What you are buying

Our guides are digital and delivered the moment payment clears: you are taken straight to the full document, which stays online at your own link so you can come back to it or print it. You receive the whole thing at once, which is why a digital guide cannot be returned the way a physical part can — there is nothing to send back.

When we refund

We refund in full, without argument, if:

Ask within 14 days of the purchase by replying to your payment receipt, and say which of the three applies. Refunds are returned to the card or account that paid, and usually show up within 5–10 business days depending on your bank — that last part is out of our hands.

When we do not

We do not refund because you read the guide and decided you already knew it, or because you changed your mind afterwards. This is not a trial and it is not a satisfaction guarantee, and we would rather say so on this page than imply otherwise on the sales page. The shop page describes what is inside in enough detail to decide before paying; if something there is unclear, that is worth telling us before you buy.

We also cannot refund on the basis of what happened to a machine. The guide explains how parts work and how to tell them apart; what you do at the bench is yours.

Chargebacks

If something went wrong, tell us first. A refund we issue takes days; a chargeback takes weeks, costs us the fee either way, and helps nobody who just wanted the document they paid for.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here removes a right you have under the law where you live. Where local consumer law gives you more than this policy does, the law wins.
